Inspiration comes from odd things sometimes. A familiar childhood smell, cookies baking, cigar smoke on a rainy spring morning, the dampness of leaves along a stream, milk souring in a school cafeteria…

Hearing of someone else’s troubles and thinking, “I’ll take mine over that any day,” or “Poor bastard.”

Sometimes seeing that you’re not in this alone - whatever “this” is, can inspire us to keep on going. A hug, a kiss, a flower, a pat on the back, an understanding smile…it’s sometimes the simpliest of things that lift our spirits. I hope to add stories, photos and quotes to this page in hopes that one, some or all of them inspire you in some way.
